Iceberg Introduces Author John Fioravanti
Iceberg Publishing is proud to introduce its newest author, John Fioravanti, whose first book, A Personal Journey to the Heart of Teaching, will be released in Iceberg’s non-fiction line in spring 2007.
“It’s a big thrill for us to welcome John to the Iceberg team of writers,” Kenneth Tam commented. “John brings a great deal of experience and wisdom, and his writing is incredible!”
John is an Ontario high school history teacher with over thirty years of experience, an avid reader and an experienced writer with one book (in two international editions) to his credit.
“I’m very excited about working with the Iceberg team,” John says. “It’s a dream come true to be able to write both non-fiction and fiction!”
A Personal Journey to the Heart of Teaching, John’s non-fiction title, is the story of his experiences as a teacher, written honestly and emotionally to help teachers, students and parents alike understand what that calling has meant for him.
“It’s a warm and engaging story,” Jacqui Tam explains. “It reveals the sacrifices and the joys teachers experience as they learn their intricate craft.”
And John won’t be stopping with Journey. As one of the original fans of the Equations series, I became enamored with several of the key human characters,” John explains. “I’m working on a trilogy that will tell the personal stories of characters like Sarah Manchester and Pat Conroy during the forty year time span between The Earther Equation and The Genesis Equation.”
