Southwestern Ontario Tour Wraps Up

05-30-2004

Kenneth Tam’s tour of Chapters stores in Southwestern Ontario wrapped up on Saturday with a successful visit to Chapters South London. Following the same pattern as the visits to Ancaster and Guelph earlier in May, yesterday’s event met with interest from both young adult and adult readers, and drew discussions of subjects ranging from Science Fiction’s legacy to visions of the Earth’s future.

Kenneth was treated to great conversations with the many people who met with him, “I was pleased to chat with the many people who expressed interest in the Equations Novels — from avid Sci-Fi fans, to people curious about different visions of humanity’s fate, to aspiring writers? there was quite a mix.”

“Each of the Chapters stores was wonderful to visit,” Kenneth adds. “All the staff were helpful and friendly, and I couldn’t ask for better support from the regional organization. I’ve enjoyed being a Chapters customer for many years, but I enjoyed this experience as an author in Chapters even more.”

The next major event on Kenneth’s schedule is Toronto Trek 18, Canada’s Largest Science Fiction convention, which takes place in Toronto from July 2-4. As an Author Guest, Kenneth will be reading from and signing his books, as well as serving as a panelist for several discussions on the writing process. More information on the convention can be found on the Toronto Trek 18 website: http://www.tcon.ca.
