Champions Wins IPPY for Best Series
After ten years and 29 individual titles, Kenneth Tam’s series Champions wrapped up in 2022, helping celebrate Iceberg Publishing’s twentieth anniversary. Last week, the Independent Publisher Book Awards –– the IPPYs –– announced that the series has been awarded the bronze medal in their 2023 Best Book Series category.
IPPY win for That Wolfdog Lifestyle
A book produced within a month to support an Alberta wolfdog sanctuary has received an international award. That Wolfdog Lifestyle showcases the personalities of the wolfdog residents at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, a facility that provides safe, lifelong homes for animals who are part wolf, part dog, and who cannot live in human homes and neighborhoods.
A Daughter’s Gift wins international award
Ten years after its original release, the powerful story of a father-daughter relationship that defies the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease has won an international award. The special tenth anniversary edition of A Daughter’s Gift, by Canadian author Jacqui Tam, has won an Independent Publisher Book Awards –– or ‘IPPY’ –– silver medal.
Heart of Teaching wins Independent Publisher Book Award
Waterloo author John Fioravanti has been awarded a Bronze medal from the international Independent Publisher Book Awards for his 2007 work, A Personal Journey to the Heart of Teaching.
